The origins of Mill Panel go back to 1908 when the Van Hout wooden shoe factory was first established in Mill. By 1913 the factory had developed into a sawmill, and it then went on to become a leading world-wide supplier of peeled and high-grade veneer. This in turn was the basis for a panel manufacturing department set up in 1971, and thirty years later in 2001, that department became the independent company of today known as Mill Panel BV. The productThe Mill Panel product is a sheeting material made with peeled and high-grade veneer. Other materials such as insulation foam, aluminium and cork are also incorporated into the panels. Due to the numerous options on offer, Mill Panel plays a major role in new technological developments in the world of sheeting materials. The production of plywood is carried out subject to BRL-1705/01 “Triplex” in accordance with the Wood Certification Agency Foundation (SKH) regulations for product certification.
